Brenda Swiney

Brenda Swiney has over 20 years of financial and operational experience in emerging, growth, and public companies. She now focuses on providing CFO level expertise to emerging technology companies.

Brenda’s finance leadership comes from companies that range from newly-funded companies (Aruba Wireless Networks, Chava) to established multi-national with hundreds of thousands employees worldwide (Lucent Technologies, DellEMC). The wide breath of experience enables her to have a unique perspective of the life stages of a company and versatility when thinking about the requirements of each stage. She has built the infrastructure, policies, and processes of emerging companies, preparing them to their next stage of growth and ultimate exit.

Early in her career, Brenda spent over eight years in financial consulting, including over six years at PwC. She maintains an active CPA license as well as her CMA, CGMA, and CAMS certifications. She earned her B.S. and M.S. degrees from the University of Colorado, Denver.
