mieCFO Community leadership

Community Involvement

For Brenda, involvement in the community is an expression of the same values that drive her work as a CFO/COO — trusted service, genuine partnership, and a commitment to making things better.

About our Involvement

Rooted in Silicon Valley

Brenda has been an active community contributor throughout her career, working with organizations focused on youth, animals, seniors, and professional development. Her current involvement centers on four organizations that reflect her deepest areas of interest.

Humane Society of Silicon Valley’s mission is to save lives, keep families together, and create a better future for pets and their people.

Their vision is a world where all animals can thrive, all people experience the magic of the human-animal bond, and all families are able to care for their pets.

Brenda first became involved with Humane Society of Silicon Valley as a donor and advocate before accepting an invitation to join the board.

After serving as a Board Member for six years, she continues to advocate for the organization as a member of its Board Alumni Ambassador Program.
